Imported MIDI tempo problem...

Hey guys,

I'm new to Sonar so I need some help with importing MIDI and adjusting tempo.  I transcribed a piece in Sibelius and export a midi of it, opened it in Sonar Essentials to rework it a little.  When I open the MIDI it has a default tempo of 100 bpm, when I change the tempo to 85 it sounds like the metronome is changing but the MIDI tracks are staying at 100.

Any help would be appreciated!

If you open a MIDI file, SONAR will adopt its tempo. If you import a file, it will adopt SONAR's tempo. Either way, the MIDI should follow whatever tempo you set in SONAR. Check the tempo view, and make sure there's only the one tempo at 01:01:000
