Tip of the day! Film / Video Scoring with SONAR X1.

Tip of the day! Film / Video Scoring with SONAR X1.

Working with FILM, VIDEO with SONAR X1 x64.
There are a lot of good things to say about the video engine in SONAR example you can sync in HD 1920 X 1080, which takes very little CPU resources. You can also send the image to a third monitor, HD TV on the wall in sync with SONAR X1 too.
But pretty soon you will you discover some problems with the video engine and different video format's in SONAR X1.

Usually the Movie company dispatched the movies in QuickTime format, because it's the default Final Cut Pro X Mac format.

The best way is that you self convert the video to AVI-Video format with help using a FREE-program called AVC, ANY VIDEO CONVERTER.
Using the AVC, you can determine and convert to any video format's, Screen resolution, quality, audio frequency, frame rate etc..
I strongly recommend that you convert the movies to AVI format if you plan to use it with SONAR X1. for the best sound and picture.

I know some people have had luck with AVI format but for me WMV is the only format that works consistently in 64 bit Sonar.  More often than not AVI does not work for me.
