Does anyone here use the MV88 w/the Tascam fw-1884?

I'm asking for that config specifically because I'm catching it with the midi sync of this setup. If you also use these with Sonar even a bigger plus if you've ever sync'd it all up successfully. I've followed the steps given to me by bighare here -----> http://mvnation.com/phpBB...3&p=122637#p122637 and double checked them here -----> http://www.rolandus.com/u...wnloads/341/MVWS12.pdf with no luck and wondering if there is something left out. When I hit a note on my Fantom I get a midi signal (red/green light) but if I hit a pad on the MV nothing (not sure if I should get anything). The 1884 midi ports shows in my "midi Devices" & my "sync" menus in Sonar. Not sure what other info I need to add so just ask if you can help. Thanks!

    For now I just want Sonar to start the MV eventually I need to be able to use the MV sounds with the Fantoms sequencer & vice versa and sequence the MV & Fantom's sounds using Sonar as the sequencer? So I disconnected the USB cable from the Fantom and decided to try just the midi connection and now it isn't syncing in Sonar. So now I'm pretty sure the prob is somewhere between The Tascam fw-1884 & Sonar 6 but I have no idea of what it could be!
