Loading default pattern in step sequencer?

Loading default pattern in step sequencer?

Is it possible to set up the step sequencer so it loads a particular pattern as the default? I have set up a pattern with each row assigned a particular note and drum name in order to map properly onto a battery drum file. I have saved the battery file as a track default so that I can easily insert a drum. It would be nice if, when opening the step sequencer for that track, it would automatically have the pattern load that is mapped onto the battery drum set. Thanks.

    Not directly but you can set it up and save the project as a template, it'll become the default for any projects that start life from that template then. Of course that may be a bit OTT, depends on how often you use it I guess, the other downside is it isn't going to help any existing projects.

    You can save a pattern in step sequencer and load that, it won't be loading by default but it will still be quick and easy. It will keep the row setup...
