I'm not 100% sure, (John's made me doubt myself ) but I'm pretty sure this will work. Set up all your track's MIDI, Audio, VSTs etc as you want them in a folder and then select the folder. Right click on any one of the tracks and select save as track template.

Now when you insert that track template it will recreate the synths and folder hierachy for you.

Track folder's definitely work like that for a whole bunch of MIDI and audio. I have one for drums as template which is 1 MIDI track & 8 Audio for example.

Having said that I am having a nightmare with track folders causing all sorts of grief with ACT and the MCU, I'll be starting a separate post on that when I finally get all the problems listed and consistent.

for now I made NORMAL template with all the track and folders for my hardware synths, but it's just a temporary solution. Another problem I have is editing MIDI tracks in TV, when they are hidden in CV (in this case I can't do anything more than clicking on the MIDI track), but it's a separate topic for another post.

No need for a temporary solution, I've got to my DAW and can confirm that my method in post #3 will work. Create whatever you want, put the while lot in a folder. Select whole folder, right click on one of the tracks and save as track template.

When you insert that track template into a project it will recreate the tracks, insert the synths, and put the whole lot in a folder.
