How do I know if I have an iLok2?

Mine takes 500 license according to the box, but Slate VCC demo won't see it... It says iLok, not iLok 2, but it's the one they have the picture of on the ilok.com website and I bought it a couple of months ago... Sorry, ignorant I know I am :O)

    No problems here with either ilok or ilok2.
    Make sure you have the latest PACE drivers installed. Did you sign-in to Ilok's website & see if the VCC demo licence is listed?
    Firefox has known issues with ilok's website,  I use IE to sync licenses.

    Hi Carl, VCC gave me no links or serial no's, so I'm not sure how to do it :O) Downloaded and ran all the latest drivers though. Any ideas? I do use IE.

    In most cases the software company asks for your iLok user name & then they send the demo license to your iLok account.

    You then use 'Redeem License Code' in iLok's dashboard & it transfers it to your iLok.

    I'd email Slate & ask them to send you one (or over again if that's how their demo works.)

    The new iLok 2 looks completely different.  It is solid black, sleek and has a pretty blue glowing light.  The old ones are bulbous, see through plastic.

    well I just tried to redeem the demo code for the slate fgx , and ilok said it redeemed but it does not show up in my list of licenses to be downloaded... I have the ILOK 2, btw and no issues with VCC so I tried several times , guess Ill shoot Steve an email ..
