    Another sad loss.

My nephew plays guitar and Bert was his biggest influence.

    RIP Bert Jansch

Great player, and a big influence on some of my favourites like John Martyn and Richard Thompson. RIP.

I learned to play listening to Bert and John Renbourn. Jansch was a fantastic guitarist and great songwriter. RIP

    Hi,

If there is one thing about being 61, it is that ... a whole bunch of your friends end up leaving sooner or later ...

Yeah ... sad loss and a legacy of some really great music ... yeah ... definitly missed.

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

Damn, I hate cancer. I hate it with a passion. Condolences to family and fans. I am old enough to remember the folk scene. When I was a kid we would camp and always sing P,P, and Mary, the Kingston Trio, Dylan, and others around the campfire.
    RIP.
