[Answered] Expanded Activity Light on input strip?

I see that we now have a single (?) activity light for PC in Expanded...

What happened here? Is there some way this indicator can be read so that we know which PC device is operating?

Previously we had a separate "light" for each plugin... I can see where that became an issue with the addition of more modules, but I must say that I miss being able to see which module is acting and with how much intensity...

I see that it still displays intensity, but of which device, when???

We were a little sad to see those nice meters go, too =) But, with the Expanded ProChannel, there can be any number of modules (including 3rd party modules). Trying to show meters for an arbitrary and possibly large number of modules in that small space would have been quite messy, so we decided to make just one meter. The way it works is that it displays the loudest peak from any of the active modules in that channel. This is useful for spotting clipping quickly. Also, once the ProChannel is opened, the "header" area for each module still has a meter. George

    Thanks George...

I can imagine the difficulties of maintaining multiple meters with a growing list of plugins... Too bad tho as it was very helpful/informative...

I haven't had the chance to investigate yet, but does it change colors on overloads etc.?

The meters in the headers are ok for what they are, but it doesn't help when the PC is closed as the earlier meters were visiblble on the input strip... But I understand and it will have to do... for now..........? ;-)

    Thanks again...
