The Cool TV

On cable now..... the Moody Blues..Threshold of a Dream

I think Meatloaf is up too and Alice Cooper.

It's on a TV channel I have on Time Warner cable called The Cool TV....

I sure hope it gets better... the sound is cruddy and the video looks like Woodstock with out the mud. OK...interspersed with interviews from now.... the show is old..... ride my seesaw.....

    WHAT???

I guess I will have to peruse it online but it would be so much "cooler" on TV. I can watch Wolfgangs Vault and Youtube online...
I will be visiting, emailing, and calling local Comcast. Thanks for the head's up!!

I was telling my wife a few days ago that I would love to see a new network that plays Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, The Midnight Special, and In Concert... and maybe the musical acts from the early years of SNL and Fridays.

I thought it was a concert.... it was concert footage.... they did 2 Moodies tunes then a Yes tune....or two..... then they jumped to Meatloaf..... nothing like a big fat, ugly, sweaty guy on the screen to ruin the night.... then my wife switched the channel....

    Oh well....

Maybe I'll see if I can find that new channel...... Bapu TV  ......   All Bapu, all the time.

Or just get some yogurt and call it a night.

I've never liked Meatloaf. How can anyone get so much mileage out of one song?

Have you ever checked out Wolfgangs Vault? They have some GREAT video and audio... and some very expensive memoribilia.

The songs that they record at their site are incredible, very HD. They have three in studio songs by Camper Van Beethoven. Two are good, one is soso, one of the two good ones is great All Her Favorite Fruit, from Key Lime Pie. They have some good Zappa plays Zappa too.. and good BAND clips... lots of good stuff. Be sure to choose HD if you have the speed.

you do realize that Meatloaf is only a performer?  he did not write any of the songs he performed and recorded.  those were all written by Jim Steinman.
