Transfering Computers

How would I go about transferring the whole studio (Music Creator 5) between two computers.  Do I just install the program and register it on the new computer or am I going about it wrong?

You have the license to use it on 2 computer if you bought it legally and registered it.

So simply install it from the DVD or DL files and register the second one with the same code you used on the first install.

You don't have to register from the second computer; the program is already registered, but you do have to enter the serial number and registration code.
Of course, any projects you have on computer #1 will have to be transferred to computer #2 if you want to continue working on them. Save them to CD, DVD or external hard drive or thumb drive and load them on the new box.

Or network the 2 computers and transfer the projects that way.

True. Actually, you can't register from the second computer, and I suspect this is the reason for your question.
As Greg mentioned, the software is already registered.
If you don't have your registration code, log into your account at the Cakewalk Store. it will be documented there for you.
