How I'll spend my Columbus Day.

Wander around aimlessly and when I arrive in my kitchen I'll declare it to be the bedroom.

Smoking a cigar in a dirty raincoat and muttering "There's just one more thing"?

    That's disgusting.

    Truly vile.

    I rarely mutter.

    I'm confused.

Does this Columbus Day of which you speak have anything to do with the Pilgrim Fathers landing at Fraggle Rock

Nope...........but it sadly  marks the end of many things to the native South Americans.

There are many campaigns here in the U.S. to re-think "Columbus" and his heritage.............

I would say he's gradually getting a giant down grade...............

OH MAN... I really missed a chance to by totally politically incorrect and offensive... I can't believe it. Tonight Igot a call from someone trying to get me todonate to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation (I don't EVER give to people who call me...) I politely declined.... but dang, I could have wished them a Happy Coumbus Day.
Yeah, I know... it would NOT be PC, but I wuld have loved to hear the response. Actually I do care but I thought that they had casinos etc. I was really proud of the Cherokee for standing up to the federal government last month but I don't know how it was resolved. However they are an independent nation that exists within the USA. Not sure I agree with what they were doing but I totally agree with their right to run their own affairs after all the crap Andy Jackson put them through...

Still, I missed a chance to wish the Lakota a happy Columbus Day... Dang it all.. (am I exhibiting troll qualities??) Well, if they scalp me they wont get much.

edit> If you ever give money to people who call you... you will get on a list of people who might donate in response to a phone call and you will start to get a LOT more calls.

we don't get Columbus day off from work.  and there are a couple of other "holidays" we don't get off from work.  but we get from Christmas Eve until Jan 2 off!  with pay!  I love that!  and will gladly sacrifice a couple of "minor holidays" for "Christmas vacation!"

I was hoping to do some work in my studio, but the weather was much too nice. I spent much of it riding my cycling and doing some chores around the place.
