[Answered] Expanded Bundle Install- specfically Z3TA+2 (suspicious.cloud.5)

Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but I thought coming out of the Expanded install..

Installed Z3TA+2 yesterday and immediately during the install Norton complained about 'suspicious.cloud.5' and quarantined same. Googling shows that 'suspicious.cloud.5' is a ' malware "heuristic virus '.

Is it coincidence that the alarm rang during the Expanded /Z3TA install or does this have anything to do with the SoundCloud install ?

 Thanks and Best Regards,

 Bill

report it to both cw and norton, it's probably a false positive (especially if it mentions "heuristic" anything)

list of stuff

Hi Bill,

We are aware of this and have reported it to Symantec - it is a false positive I can assure you that the Z3tA + 2.1 installer is not malicious.

You can report it to them here: https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/

I recommend using Microsoft security essentials which is free. I have never needed to run anything more than that and it has no adverse effects or overhead on the system as other AV solutions frequently do.
