Thanks Mike, is there a chorus??? Free sounding that makes sence hence "is there a chorus" it's more a riff and two other bits I joined together. 

As for the strings they were just cheap d'ddario's 10's I think so very light, I've moved up to 12's now.  In fact everything on this track is cheap, I used a Behringer 90$ preamp an audio techncia 150$ microphone and my acoustic was a 500$ Fender brought in 1991 but the EP that this song appears on was part of a uni project I did and It did garner me 77%.  So it is amazing what you can do with a bit of knowledge.

Thanks anthony, ohh you have a hofner bass, I am so jealous, I have an epiphone copy (I feel so inadquate as I type this).  I don't know which section but I think it may be the end, the dirty preist part, app on the show the main character goes to Vegas to get married so thats why I believe it will be the end section.  I personally hope it will be Alice's section, I've had music on TV before even had a little singing so it would be nice for Alice to be able to show her friends and family, look at what I have done.
