X1 Expanded sample import
I'm enjoying X1e overall, but noticed last night that when drag-and-dropping samples from the Browser into the Track View so as to create a new track, they are always imported at the start, rather than where the timeline is. This is in spite of the "import samples at timeline" setting which I found on a menu somewhere. Can't recall where and am not at my DAW presently. Can anyone confirm this and is there a workaround?

I have had the opposite behavior happen quite often. If I am at the start of a project, and try to drag and drop a sample/loop onto an audio track it appears at the end of the project. I usually have to go to end of project and cut and paste it into place, which work fine "at timeline".

Are you importing bwfs? If so you probably have the setting checked to import them at their time stamp.

The samples in question were some of the sample "one-shot"s supplied with X1, so I don't imagine they're broadcast waves. Could be wrong though and I'll check. Thanks for the tip.
