    You can't re-arrange the synths in the rack.  You can only re-arrange their associated tracks.

    He's right, though, that Help says you can do it:

    Hmm, weird, Dave.  I searched the help file for that and couldn't find it.  And previously it was not possible to rearrange synths.

    Maybe this actually is doable!   I gotta find out for me-self later ;)

    No, can't be done. But yes, it's in the Help under Browser ► Using the Synth Rack Browser ► Managing instruments in a project
