I think everything sounds really cool. I like the tune. I kept thinking of Green Day but I think a cross between The Kinks and The Ramones is more like it.

I disagree with the previous  comment about the siren. I think it's fine where it is. The pauses are really well done. The only thing I would do is choke the cymbal at the end rather than let it ring.

Real nice tune there and nicely performed too.  Shades of the Clash, Kinks, et. al.  (that's good).  Should be a real winner live.

Drums are real drums tracked and layered with Steven Slate triggers, amazing sounding drum trigger libraries.

This is really excellent and very cool!


Dynamite performances and great vocals with a modern punk rock vibe.  To me it felt like a fusion of Green Day and The Donnas with a splash of Blink 182 thrown in for good measure.


The drums really sound fantastic, and the mix sounds right on the money for the genre.

Basically you track your drums for real like you would normally and then use drum replacement software to replace or layer samples over the top. Think of it like a compressor - once a transient in the waveform goes over the threshold you set within the software, a sample is played. In this case, I layered all drums 50/50, for example, you're hearing 50% real snare, 50% a sample from a library. You CAN go 100% but to me if there isn't an inkling of real snare in it it's not gonna be "your" snare, kick etc, if you get me.

Drums, do you use triggers on the trap set and record the midi notes,
or use software to trigger the samples.   Just curious because I'm looking into
doing such.  I only record live performance but would love to be able to use triggers
and mic the set to give me the option to use samples later, love to on kick, snare and toms.
Some of the drummers I have to record live have ****ty heads...... lol

Awesome track man, no nonsense rock! Good stuff, however, the only thing I could think of was a little too over-compressed, have a look at your wav, there ain't much dynamics, I know it's rock but maybe give the instruments a bit more space apart with panning etc, and should clean it up a bit, but overall, love it man!
