Depreciation

11 years ago I paid £10,000 for one of these;

Today, 265,000 miles later, I sold it for £250.

I'll miss that car.

    It's pretty much come to the end of it's useful life without putting a new engine in it, and the chassis is badly rusted. A young lad we know wants to do a renovation project with it, so we might see it around again one day!

    Best car I ever owned, never let me down, even when I was doing 1000 miles a week in it.

    I was kinda wondering same thing.

    One of my shop trucks has 306,000 miles on it. It is still straight and running strong...................its not the latest or greatest, but its been paid for for years.

     I feel like every mile I get out of it, I'm saving money.

    I just got a new (to me) car James. I hope it lasts as long as yours did.
    Larry took a ride in it, and kept asking me if I had any dope. Not sure what that was about.
