VSTi Stops Playing

HI, I'm having a problem with Sonar X1.

Let's say I create a new project, insert an Audio Track and Load the SI-Bass Guitar(or any other VSTi). If I go and click on the strings inside the VSTi, it sounds OK.
On the moment I import an midi file, the VSTi stops making any sound, the sound doesn't go to master. Even if I delete now the midi track, it doesn't works.

What can be the problem?

    Go into Event List View (select the midi track and click on the Event List button) and look out for an event near the start that is not classed as a "note".

    Thanks Kev999, that worked.

    Another problem I'm having:

    I have the piano roll opened with some midi notes on it.
    If I press play, I have the notes song and also I have a sound if I click on the piano. But if the project is stoped, I don't have any sound when I click on the piano.

    I have no idea why I get no sound when the project is stoped.

    And also, Once I insert more than one VSTi, I get no sound when click on the VSTi interface, only if I assign a midi file to it and press play.

    Again, Event List View might provide some clues.
