blank track template

I'm finally getting to using X1 after having it for months but finishing a project in 8.53.  I noticed there's no "Blank" track template choice in the preset options when starting a new project.  How do you make one in X1?  Any reason that it's not included in the preset track templates?

    Start a new project from the Normal template, delete all tracks and/or buses, and save as Blank.tpl.

    SONAR Platinum x64, 2x MOTU 2408/PCIe-424  (24-bit, 48kHz)

    Just a side note, but I thought this could cause problems. I remember oding this when X1 first came out and had regular crashes. Came to the forum and found out that deleting all tracks could cause stability issues.

    The work around was to do as brundlefly suggests, but leave one audio track and hide it.

    However, this may be fixed by now.

    I recall there was an issue with changing screensets in an empty project, but other than that, I don't know of any problems with it.

    Should be Ok. I did that recently on my system with no apparent problems.

    CbB, Platinum, 64 bit throughout
