Solo Premium is €79/year if payed in full, or €9/month which equates to €108/year. With Cakewalk's discount it comes to €81/for the first year on the monthly plan, €108/year if you continue on the plan.
 
So it's actually more expensive than paying for a year outright. The discount can only be applied to the monthly fee structure.
 
So, yes, there is a discount. But also yes, you can get it cheaper.
