Any way to "bring up" an entire Volume automation?
Hello, I have a track with loads on volume automation on it. I realized now I want to raise the entire track up by 6db in volume BUT keep all the volume "movements" and would hate to have to adjust EACH node separately. Is there a way to just boost the overall volume? Basically i would love to do a "Select All" on all nodes and be able to bring them all up 6db. Thank you, Adam

You can lasso all nodes and drag them all together. Or you can raise the track Gain (input level). Or put SONAR in Offset mode (shortcut O), and raise the output Volume level that the automation will ride on top of.
SONAR Platinum x64, 2x MOTU 2408/PCIe-424 (24-bit, 48kHz) Win10, I7-6700K @ 4.0GHz, 24GB DDR4, 2TB HDD, 32GB SSD Cache, GeForce GTX 750Ti, 2x 24" 16:10 IPS Monitors

How about using channel tools boost?

Or put SONAR in Offset mode (shortcut O), and raise the output Volume level that the automation will ride on top of +1 Offset mode is my preferred choice in this situation. 1: Press O to enter offset mode 2: Adjust the main volume on that track until you are happy with it. 3: Press O to leave offset mode ( < important, or you will get really confused when everything else starts to look and behave wrong)
Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take! ^ Yes Offset Mode is a very nice feature.. one of the best features I stumbled upon by accident & received help from by this forum!

3: Press O to leave offset mode (< important, or you will get really confused when everything else starts to look and behave wrong) Yes. Thanks for adding that. I was going to edit my post to clarify.

I prefer to use the Trim/Gain control, as it's easy to see how much offset you've added or subtracted. The exception is when there is a compressor on the track, in which case tweaking the trim/gain would require readjusting compressor thresholds. In that case, I often keep the gain at unity and use the compressor's output control to adjust the overall volume up or down.
All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

Yep all of the above - I usually have a compressor or an EQ or something with an output control on it, so I normally use that as Bit has suggested. Another option is sending your track to a bus, but I think the above mentioned methods are better, faster and cleaner.

Another method is to click and hold the upper region of the clip (when in automation filter mode, all nodes become selected), and simply drag the whole envelope up. Best, Klaus

Klaus has the easiest method, it's a one click thing and one of the great new features of envelopes in X1.

I use offset a lot and love it. It can be a massive help when it comes to mix adjustments.
