48k loops play in the browser but not in the timeline.(41k will no problem)

it could be my audio interface but ive tried every setting in preferences.
it will play in my browser fine..no problem.(the 48k sample rate loops)
but once i drop it in the timeline it disapears..just a bunch of dots..not wave form,no sound.
41k sample rate loops drop in as normal.

    Charles,

Make sure you don't have the "import broadcast waves at their timestamp" set on.    If you do, the import is probaby happening but you don't see it as it's way down the timeline.

Hitting "F"  and/or SHIFT "F" will reveal it.

Thanks for the kind words about my music, Charles.  I always put some new tracks up so you might like some of those too ;)

I'm not a genius, though;  just an experienced user LOL.

As for samples, basically I do actually play the parts of my tracks (I use samples for the sounds) and occasionally  use loops (ie, pre-fabbed loops) to enhance.

But today we can do just about anything we please and can think of - so there are no real rules.  The only thing that matters is the end result.

BTW, I tend to stick with 44.1k sample rate and 24bit bit depth for recording.   This is standard "CD Quality" settings.  I upsample to 48k when doing DVD / Video work, though usually at the final mix or mastering stage.

Well, glad to be of help!
