Groove clip looping

Hi folks......

I have some issue with groove clip looping. I have have a project with tempo initially set at 150. After recording a few tracks, I realised that 150 might be a little slow, so I changed the temp to 170. I re-recorded the audio tracks once again from the midi files(as in I will play back the midi tracks, which will play the tones from my Korg which I will record into the audio track). When I did groove clip looping to the recorded bar, which was recorded with the new tempo setting of 170, I noticed that the groove clip shrinks to less than a bar and also I get a beeping tone instead of the recorded audio data. I never had this problem when the tempo was set at 150. I don't understand why I getting this now. Is the groove clip looping following some other setting despite me changing the tempo to 170? Hope somone can advise. Thanks.

When I did groove clip looping to the recorded bar

Am I understanding correctly that you're groove-clipping the audio that was recorded from MIDI? Is this so you can share it with someone else? Easier to leave it as MIDI with live input from the Korg otherwise.

In any case, you should open the clip in Loop Construction View, and make sure the number of beats in the clip and tempo are being detected correctly. Did you punch-record it so it's precisely 1 measure long at the recorded tempo?
