obtaining the sounds featured in the Cakewalk Sound Center(3rd.party)/Rapture

Hello, I have a project coming up that I found to be enhanced by a sound that Sonar x1 Essentials has in its database. However it is a third party (Rapture software) sound and is only meant(as I was told by a tech.) to showcase the sounds rather than being available to put in a recording.  I have found that there is an obvious overwhelming echo feedback that discourages the use and recording of certain sounds in this arena of Rapture. I am referring to the classic chicago stack 3 that displays when you go to synths in Cakewalk Sound Center. Is there a way of gaining the original sound or use a particular type of modification to erase this echoing. I only need this one particular sound and don't want to have to buy it if I don't have to. Thanks a bunch.

I'm not seeing this.  I can record using the Chicago Stack 3 through Sound Center and it plays back just like it records.  So you have reverb on a channel or some other reverb/delay enabled in your path?
