Bug confirm please.

Might be old news but I came across these today.

1. Unable to create a clip selection range of any audio placed on anything other then the main layer once layers are deactivated.
Steps to create -
  • Place/Rec audio onto a track
  • Turn layers on
  • Place/rec audio onto a new layer
  • Turn layers off
  • Try to select a range of audio that lived on the 2nd layer.

2. Cloning a track above a folder track moves clone into the folder.
Steps to create -
  • Create a folder track containing audio tracks.
  • Create an audio track above the track folder.
  • Clone the audio track.

    1. Confirmed. But it's only a problem with audio tracks, and it only appears not to be selected (i.e. no shading); the invisible selection can still be copied or otherwise edited. Also, moving the clip will return it to normal behavior.

    2. This was discussed a while ago. Cakewalk seems to have concluded it's working as designed: http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2386804
