Kontakt 5 player with Steven Slate Drums Multi out problems

Hi,

I upgraded my Kontakt player to version 5 (Not sure why really as all was working fine in 4).  Now NI have changed the way the route the outputs I can't seem to get all my SSD channels to go to their individual audio tracks in sonar.

I have loaded the Kontakt 5 VST with all stereo outputs selected and in Kontakt used the prestets/batch Config option - clear output selection and create one output for each instrument loaded option, however this works for each drum/Cymbal but I can't seem to configure the outputs of the SSD and NRG rooms to their own tracks in X1, they both default to kontakt outputs 1&2.

Like I say I didnt have any problems with previous versions of Kontakt just 5.  I know I can go back to earlier versions, but now I've done it I would like to try and use K5. I'm sure its going to be something simple, but I cant see the wood for the trees.

Any help gratefully received.

I posted this in another thread re Kontakt outputs so thought I would update this one with more info so as to not hijack the other thread....

More info that may help you kontakt experts

The problem for me is I am using Steven Slate Drums which has two auxilary outputs which in SSD are Room Mics (NRG room and SSD Room). Kontakt only gives you 4 routing options in Kontakt for these Aux outputs which are to the same outputs as the first 4 instruments ie Kick drum on outputs 1&2, Auxilary outs also to outputs 1&2 which have the kick drum on them, so room mics and kick appear on the same audio track in X1. I cant see a way round this. This was never a problem in Kontakt 3.5 or 4.

I know the obvious answer, however, I would still like to know the answer to this problem.

    stinga,

I have the full kontakt 5 and you can set up th eoutputs so the aux's are on their own outs. Does "player" have the same "outputs" screen? If so, it's not *too* hard to do (once you work it out).

Of course in your case - it's already working so maybe better not to tempt fate ;-)
