Adding an EQ "template" to existing files

This question may have been asked dozens of times but I don't intend to spend the next hour+ looking for it!  And this may help others to re-iterate what must be simple:

I have 6 songs recorded of a band.   I spent 2-3 hours EQ-ing all parts (9 drum mics and 8 instrument mics/DI/vocals) and panning them to the optimal points, how do I, or can I even, now take this EQ/Pan info and transpose it onto the remaining 5 songs.    I had thought of deleting the existing wave info, and pasting from another song, but the last time I did this is Sonar Producer (8.5.3) It mixed all the tracks up (?why) and it took me an hour to get them all back into the right tracks.

I have X1 but I hate the user interface, it's like, "why have you taken an excellent piece of software and turned it into something that looks like a childs toy and moved everything in the menus so I don't know where anything is now" lol....

Thanks golks,
Jack.

Click on the Eq to bring it up,  Once open at the top there is the little area where it probably says "no presets"  click on that field  and type Tom1, or  dave guitar, or what ever it is..... then click the save button on the eq's display face....  now that will be in your preset menu.

Brilliant!   I thought it should be simple :)   Thanks.    If only they'd write a decent manual or have a decent help system.... ;)

Sorry my friend, to master this software it simply just takes time. one new thing at a time. You could read the manual end to end and never remember all the details. I found the little save preset gizmo first time out, guess I just got lucky. One day I will find the toggle for the Master/ EFX and headphone Buss view.

    1. The idea of naming Fx presets is explained in the manual
    2. Your problem is nothing to do with manuals or help systems, all that's required is a little bit of imagination
