uninstalled Sonar 8 and 8.5, now some of my plugins wont load in X1

Rescanned vst folders, the .dll's are still there but get errors when loading. Any solution other than reinstalling them?

    None that spring to mind. Just reinstall them.

    Any particular reason for uninstalling 8 & 8.5? The programs themselves take up very little space, and as you've found out, it can casue problems.

    I recently uninstalled 6PE and was getting similar problems

    I had the same problem and I simply reinstalled the offending plug ins.   Also, if you are running X1 64 bit, the uninstallation might have deleted the bitbridge plugin.  I had to do a reinstall of X1 to get that back.

    If you have multiple DAW's installed. Search for VSTPLUGINS folders. And add those.

      i think you may be right about missing bit bridge. Upon further exploration I see its all of the 32 bit plugs that are failing to load until I go into plugin manager and change them to open with jbridge. Thanks!
