Adding automation envelopes

Hello all! I am wanting to know how you go about adding an automation envelopes such as pan, volume or envelopes for your Synth's In Cakewalk Sonar x1. In Cakewalk Sonar8 It was just a simple case of right clicking in the Midi or Audio track & going to insert envelope, however in X1 that opthion seems to have gone so how do I do so in Cakewalk Sonar x1?

In X1 you need to set the edit filter. That can be done either in the track header, or the HUD (either press T or middle click) and then select the relevant envelope.

Now I'm used to it I find it easier than in 8.5 because once the filter is set when you right click you'll get the envelope context menu up easier when you right click without having to position the mouse over the right envelope first.

To quickly change between envelopes and/or clip, shift click on the one you want to be active. IMHO a great improvement on the haphazard, which envelope/clip/node is going to be selected now, method of previous versions. The only downside is there is no pop up over ghosted data and the colours can be difficult to distinguish. I've put in a feature request for that and if it ever gets implemented envelopes, for me, will be just about perfect.
