POD Farm 2.51 Requires iLok key

If you upgrade (or buy) POD Farm 2.51 you will need an iLok key.  I have an iLok key (for Antares) so that wasn't an issue on my system.

    Rain is right as rain on this one.  There is a computer version that does not require an ILok2. 

    I downloaded it to demo it again (I once owned a couple different Pods), but the new 2.51 download only has 2 guitar and 2 bass models.  It would be nice to have a demo version that one could check out the other models of amps, perhaps with white noise or some other demo restriction.  However, the demo only lets one look at 4 amps.

    The 'computer' version used to be hardware dependent but they changed that for 2.5 so no line6 interface 'dongle' or iLok was required.

    Well, I upgraded from 2.0 to 2.51 through the Monkey program (it noted an update was available) but after upgrading it required activation.  I posted a Line 6 support query on their forum and the resolution was that I needed to purchase it and after that they provided me with an iLok link to authorize it.

    There was a post on the gearslutz.com forum a couple weeks ago from a user about the new 2.51 required an iLok.
