Expanded: Aim Assist broken?

Argh.
What is the user action that makes aim assist disappear in Expanded?
I hope it will be fixed in days rather than weeks :-/.

Just clicking anywhere at all makes it disappear in "E".   It's been reported, but we don't know when a fix is coming yet :(
It's been difficult working without it.

Mine seems to come on and off at will (not my will, sonar's).

    i7-870 2.93Ghz, 16GB RAM, Radeon HD 5770 + 2 x DisplayLink w/ 4 x 22" screens, Intel SSD 80GB, Sonar X1-D Exp.

    Hi Folks,

Yes, there is an issue with Aim Assist disabling. This was introduced by the auto enable Aim Assist feature when dragging from the browser to the Track view. The feature is too aggressive about disabling even if it's always on. This will get addressed in a future update.

In the meantime, I suggest binding a key to Aim Assist. Go to preferences, hit the advanced button and choose Keybindings in the customization section. Select Track View in the Bind Context picker. Highlight a key and highlight Aim Assist. Hit the bind button and apply the change. With this binding you can switch Aim Assist on when it goes away.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info, Dan - but the workaround doesn't really help much.  I have always had a keybinding (still do) but the moment I click anywhere at all, after turning on AIM, it turns off.  So there's no way to actually be able to use it here.

Do you have any idea when we might expect this fix?   Thanks.
