Channel tools plug in does not work. Appears shaded.

I am having an issue with my channel tools plugin.  I might have the same issue with other plugins....Just not sure.
When I insert the plugin it opens,  but it appears shaded and you can tell you can turn the functions on and off.  They do not
work.  Any suggestions?

    No.  audio track.

If you load another plugin in the track, does this new one work ok?

    Hi nchardy,

There's a power button on the plugin itself. It is directly below the main meters in the middle. Make sure it's on (blue light illuminated).

The plugin could also be bypassed in the bin. In the Track inspector, make sure there is a blue on button next to the plugin name.

    Hope this helps!

I was thinking "maybe bypassed?" --  so that's def something to check.  OR maybe the OP accidentally hit "E" (keybinding for GLOBAL FX BYPASS -- and I think it's dangerously too easy to hit "E" and not realize it!!).

One of the very first things I did with X1 was to change the keybind of "E" to "DO NOTHING".
So it's worth checking if Global Bypass is on as well.
