Missing plug-ins and install locations

I opened Sonar 8.5 today after a very long absence and got a message that Dimension LE and Dim Pro plugins were missing even though they appeared in the plug-in manager as registered plug-ins. A VST scan did not help but I could insert a new instance of the synth OK. I found that I need to update Dimension to the 1.5 version but before I do I have a question on the proper folder location for it: C:Program files\Cakewalk contains the Dim LE, Dim Pro folders and a VST Plugins folder In the VST plugins folder there are Dim LE and Dim Pro folders with only the .dll files inside. The parent Dim LE and Dim Pro folders also contain a .dll file. Is this redundant and where should the .dll files be located or does it matter as long as Sonar scans the correct folder on start-up?     It doesn't matter as long as you tell it where to find them when it scans.

    Perhaps the missing plugins are the DXi versions rather than VSTi.
