MBox 3 ASIO driver not sworking in Sonar 8

MBox 3 ASIO driver not sworking in Sonar 8

I just installed the latest driver package (1.0.19) for the MBox and when I try to run in sonar 8 with ASIO driver mode it says there are no 'audio devices' for this driver model. WDM, MME etc. drivers show up in the audio options- drivers taband I can select these modes but I want to use ASIO (dont I). Can anyone suggest how I can get the drivers to 'appear' so i can select them in the audio options checkbox. The website,back of box, other sorces says ASIO drivers are now fully copatible with sonar and other programs so i am wondering what I am missing to get this to work?

    if WDM works fine then there's not a need to use ASIO.  ASIO does have better delay compensation in sonar than WDM does, but neither driver is "better" than the other as long as they're written correctly.

    I don't know much about mbox but if WDM works and ASIO doesn't, then just use WDM.
