Bus automation revisited: cut/paste and slide does not work

Is there any way to reliably move entire parts of a track around? Whatever way I try, it fails on the bus automation.
  • "Slide" doesn't affect bus automation
  • "Cut & paste" just doesn't paste it.
Any ideas welcome!

Cut-Paste will work, but you might need to do the Bus automation separately. Drag in the bus pane to select the nodes, and make sure automation is checked in the Copy dialog. Thne use Ctrl+Alt+V to get the Paste Special dialog, select Bus as the destination, and make sure Track/Bus Automation box is checked under What to Paste.

You can also Shift-drag selected automation nodes to constrain the movement to time or level.
