Controllerkeyboard...

What controllerkeyboard is the best to use. Im thinking of Novation Impulse or Rolan A-800 pro. OR is ther some one else thats better? The number one thing i would like to be able to to is for example controlling prochannels all nobs and buttons (more than eight) for the EQ-section and switch and easy do the same ting with the prochannels compressorsection. Is this possible withe either of the two keyboards?

Novation Impulse if you have third party plugins to control as well but the A-800 is fine for Cakewalk only stuff.

    Isn't prochannel an X1 thingy?
Most controllers have assignable knobs that can be set anyway you like.
I am partial to Roland Keyboards as they are bullet proof, last forever and feel good under the fingers.

The thing to be aware of with the newer Roland controllers is that the keys are not full size. If you're a real keyboard player, you may find this very annoying. Like WTF? How much money could they have possibly saved by doing something as silly as that? All the white keys are shorter (not narrower) but the black keys are narrower than normal and very rounded on the edges. It prevented me from buying one. Not bashing Roland, as I have lots of Roland gear, but there are better options out there as far as the keyboard feel itself goes. If keyboards are not your primary instrument, then you may not care.
