Sonar x1 CRASH!

Ok so im very annoyed right now, everytime for the FIRST time i startup sonar and i try to load ANY cakewalk effect such as FXeq, it will totally hang and freeze, then crash on me! then i restart sonar, and the plugins start working but if i open up a dialog box, part of that dialog box is stuck on my screen forever then the plugins start working. so i have to do this EVERYTIME if i want the plugins to work, what's happening now? Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate btw.

I didn't think the FX series was supported in 64 bit. I could be wrong though, I don't think I can even see them. Perhaps that's related, is it any plugin or just one that's being bridged?

Ah ok, that's that theory blown then. Not really sure I can help as I can't/don't use them. Hopefully someone who does will jump in. Have you re-scanned your plugins? That may help.

I just checked and they're running fine here in 64bit land Karl, plus the Bitbridge icon is missing and I can X-Ray them so it looks like they've even made them 64bit...

Thanks for that Steve. I'll have to have a look and see what's going on with my system. I can see them in the plugin manager but they don't seem to be available to me. Undoubtedly it'll be pilot error. At least I know they should work now. I've never bothered trying to get them going 'cos I thought they wouldn't.

    More toys to play with.

I'm not going to say "I told you so" but "I told you so"............

For some reason only known to my other self I had excluded them in the Plugin Manager, hence why I couldn't see them. All available for me to play with now. Carry on.......
