Here is a good challenge to help a disabled girl

The other day I was in a local computer shop talking with one of the staff. Eventually the conversation got around to his daughter who is totally deaf (Junior high). She has recently indicated that she wants to take drum lessons! She can sense / feel the vibrations. I am not a drummer but the father asked if I knew someone that could teach her. That lead to us brainstorming some on how to have the drums trigger lights to the beat, and / or someway to increase the vibrations she can sense...perhaps some type of cuff or similar thing that is on her arm or leg to transfer the vibrations more directly... This would be a great project to work on and perhaps it's already out there in some form or another ..... Does anyone want to weight on on this???

Thanks !!
