noise burst thing

I tried to solve this over at the RME forum but got nowhere.

I get this flatulant noise burst when moving the position.
noise thing (watch the mouse and listen)
So far, it is only on this one file (song).

Any ideas?

that's ugly.  have you tried increasing your latency buffers?  are you in ASIO or WDM driver mode?  have you tried the other mode?

true, but I'm not sure that's a sonar problem.  I verified on my system in both X1 and 8.5.3 that it does not do that here.  I'm using a MOTU with latest drivers in ASIO mode.

I had something similiar on another track today. Turns out, when I disabled DimPro it stopped. I'll check the other file tommorrow. I sure don't remember any dimpros in it though.
