Replace Soft Synth

i moved the source disk drive for my soft synth libraries.  so i need to remove the track synth, and on the same track (hopefully), reload the soft synth.
 
can this be done?

    not directly.  you can do that in X1Expanded, but to do it in SHS, you have to delete the softsynth and output tracks, insert the new one and point the midi track to the new softsynth
