A-800Pro sliders no longer responsive

After I installed drivers etc for the A-800 I recently purchased, all sliders and rotators etc worked with the plug-in, in Sonar X1 Enhanced. So for example, once ACT was active, I would pull down say slider S9 and I would see the Master in the consoles and the A-Pro plug-in moving accordingly.

Yesterday, I installed another ProCh module - the PC4K S-Type Chain and since then the A-Pro plug-in does not not appear active with the keyboard. I can move say S9 with my mouse and it will affect the console master. The keyboard however does not move it, unless I use Remote Control.

I wouldn't think the aforementioned module would effect this. I have already the PC4K Exp/Gate module before I added the A-Pro.

This is most puzzling. I've tried reinstalling the driver, loading and transmitting other maps, but it does not give the interaction with the plug-in, that I first had.

Any help understanding this would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like your controller may have 'lost' its assignment. First make sure you are clicking in the prochannel that you wish to control. I find that mine only respond if I do that first.

Assuming you are doing that check that the ACT controller is still set to the A-Pro in the Preferences->MIDI->control surfaces. Then open the A-pro controller dialogie and make sure that the correct preset is loaded.

If that doesn't fix it you may need to use MIDI learn to 'teach' the ACT preset which control relates to which ACT properties box cell.

Search the manual for 'MIDI learn' for more info. Once that's done you can either use the default layout or use ACT learn to create your own.

    Hope that helps a little.
