Markers View Bug?

I can't recall anyone having a similar issue, but whenever I click a named marker in the Markers module in the Control Bar, all of the marker names and times are duplicated.

And then triplicated

And then quadrupled

And so on.

At last count I was up to 8 identically named markers with identical start times for each

I've just deleted 7 of each, but this isn't the first time I've had to do this. I seem to remember doing this back as far as X1b.

So, any clues anyone?

Do you see it in other projects or in this project after re-opening it or restarting SONAR?

Hmmm... something uniquely broken there. I can't reproduce it.

Must be the UK edition of SONAR... "Yeah, it's twice the price but... you get twice as many markers!"

I've run into the same situation. If I create a marker, then edit it, I end up having the new marker over the old one.....I've been meaning to post this problem. ?????

Have you bugged this up with an attached project to repro it? I have never seen this happen personally.

If I insert a marker, say, "verse" then want to edit/change it to "solo".. I right click on the marker, change it, save it, close it....I then have both the words "verse" and "solo" on top of each other.

i once was mixing a project and had so many duplicate markers, i spent over an hour deleting them, just to save and have it happen again.

    Sorted!!!!

I know what's causing my problems!!

I tend to cut & paste clips between projects and do a lot of importing/exporting.

I've been neglecting to uncheck "paste markers" and this has been the cause of my grief.

    User Error.

I won't mark this thread as "Closed" as I see one or two of you have similar or related problems

THat definitely not my case here. I learned several years ago to uncheck markers when pasting.

LOL..... I'm glad I'm not the only one that does stuff like that. I find smacking my head hard a few times helps.
