The Longest Lie

I'm not sure if I'm done with the mix but I had to share these vocals with you guys. I never sang like this before and I think I like it. a lot of interesting guitar lines too, it gets really good at 1:30... www.reverbnation.com/enemyofearth Song : The Longest Lie

That was cool. Riff based rock & roll... It reminded me of some of the grooves from Deep Purple.... oh..... just slowed down. Part 2 sounds like it could be a different song.

Back to rocking.... Golden Earring?  I really like the tone on the guitars.....

A good song... nice mix. Cool musical journey.

Pretty cool.  Some of those earlier spaces could use a "thingy", maybe lead guitar or synth to fill a bit.  I liked where it slowed down but could hear some freakish sounds in the background to fill, of course I just quit taking pain pills yesterday!  LOL  Vocals sound good.  Overall, a cool tune.  After the slowness that heavy beat comes in and gave me chills!

I never imagined it as breaking down into another song. Because near the end it comes back to that beginning riff. It was meant to be a journey.  I hope that slow down part didn't turn off the audience but it comes around full circle.  I thought it was a beautiful design..  You're not supposed  to get it the first time. thanks for the listens

this song straddles quite a few genres, not quite sure where it fits in; has elements of stoner, foo fighters, seattle etc. i enjoyed your vocals and killer guitar work as usual..but somehow the whole is less than the sum of its parts, if that makes any sense...think i will have to listen again to get my head round it.

Mgh - good find. Though much of this album is still unsung.  The very next song is a direct follow up to longest lie.  Together they are a 10 minute long masterpiece of mine.  I meant for this not to be commercial. I meant to change pace and move suddenly into other riffs and wherever the rabbit hole leads, it leads.  It will take a second listen to get it..
