Kontakt 2 DXi, Absynth 3 DXi on Win7 ?

Hi guys,

while I'm still on SONAR 8.5, actually migrating my projects to Reaper, I have a problem loading some older projects that have Kontakt 2 DXi and Absynth 3 DXI. The VST Plugins seem to load fine but DXi's won't load on Win 7 64 bits. 

The problem is that I can't seem to find a way to see which patches i used in the DXi versions, so no way to convert to the VST plugin ?

Is there a way to get the DXi plugin loaded or an alternative to see which patches I used so I can re configure the synth with more recent versions of both plugins ?

    I have absynth 3 but I only use the VST version. I find that I had the same issue with the DXI. It has something to do with the path because the other DXI's seem to work. Check the path of the PSYN II. This should help.

    Thanks Doriginal, just managed to get Kontakt 2 DXi to run using the 32 bit version of SONAR on Win 7, so trying to get Absynth working too , should work now, thanks,

    If the DXi isn't written for a 64 bit OS and host then you won't be able to use it.

    As you've found out they work OK in SONAR 32 bit.

    there is no bridging software for 32 bit DXi's so that they work in a 64 bit host like there is for VST's with BitBriodge and jBridge.

    You can however try a product Called Effects Chainer which is still available but no longer supported. Heres a link. right at the bottom of the page

    It is a 32 bit VST/DX plugin (needs to use Bitbridge or jBridge in SONAR x64) that wraps 32 bit DX and DXi plugins making them available in a 64 bit host.

    Ok, have everything working now in SONAR 32bits, so now I can export to Reaper ...
