burning CDs

Hello everyone in the Cakewalk path!

i finished all my songs.  i exported them into Windows Media Player which is the program i use for burning my CDs.  when i played all the songs one after the other in WMP some songs seem to be almost on top of each other, that is to say, barely has a song finished and the new one starts, and then some songs seems to have a few seconds of separation from each other which is what i would like.

i have no clue as to what did i do right or wrong in each instance.

ideas anyone?

You should have an option in the setup that allows for the time between tunes.... normally that is set to 2 seconds.

See what it's set to... it might be .5 sec and that is not where it needs to be.

    2 seconds is normal.

Man:  i have spent the last 25min of my life looking for the set up that you suggest to no avail.  when the options bundle pops up there's nothing asking for time on the burn page.  i went into the Internet to see if i could figure it out on my own, but no. please be more specific.

    thanks,

Just checked my WMP on Win 7 computer. There is a checkbox for "Burn CD Without Gaps". It seems like it's the default option, so I think unchecking that box, if your options allow it, will put longer gaps between the songs.
