Sonar 7 import wave file error: invalid parameter

I am using sonar 7 and I am trying to import a series of wave files.
WHen I try to import the files I get a message:
An unknown error occurred during processing, possibly caused by an invalid parameter.

I tried other wave files and they are fine, MP3's are fine, just this series of files.
I looked at the properties of the wave file and it said the bit rate was 1411kpbs
THe file is normal sized 1.42 megs
Any ideas?

    make sure that the loop construction view is CLOSED on the project you're trying to import it to.

    it turned out that the first couple of files were corrupted, probably some issue when downloading.
    Re-downloaded the first two file, all is well
