VS-100 and Octacapture
Hi there! I'm a happy user of VS-100 and in the market for extending I/O. The first choice seems to be Octacapture. Here are a few questions to those who use that set-up already: (A) First of all, are you guys happy with the interfaces or would you rather have one with similar I/O specs. (B) Any limitation on cable lenghts connecting VS-100 and Octacapture (i.e. is anybody using the interfaces a couple of meters apart, let's say with a 5 m coaxial cable and a USB extender between one of the interfaces and the common USB hub). Are you picking up digital distortion or noise when running longer cables? (C) Can I use both MIDI ports at the same time (VS-100 and Octacapture)? (D) Anybody using the Octacapture on stage? Your comments are much appreciated. Rob
