Step Sequencer question

I've found Step Sequencer to be very useful and pretty fast, but one weird thing keeps happening. Sometimes, especially when I drag out multiple iterations of a clip, like a loop, and (I think) moreso when I drag out the last iteration to less than the length of a complete clip, the last few notes of a loop don't play. this can happen in a partial iteration or a fully-pulled-out iteration. I've had to convert loops to plain MIDI loops and make sure all the notes are in there. They usually are and they all play then. Anyone know what's happening? PS I thought I already posted this question, but when I came back to look for replies, couldn't find the post. Sorry if I double-posted. WT

That sounds like how it's supposed to work, unless I'm not understanding your description of the problem. The sequence stops wherever the clip ends. That also determines where the notes will end when you bounce to MIDI.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

I haven't been clear. The notes I'm talking about lie before the end of the clip. They should play, but don't, and unpredictably too.

hmm, not sure why that would happen, but one way round it would be to right-click on the last SS clip, hover over the very bottom of the dialogue box until a further dialogue box comes up, click 'unlink clips' and then delete the notes you don't want in the final SS clip...
