    I like it.

Nice tune.... the drums were lacking in variation....sounded like a drum machine with a start/stop button.  Some variation would go a long way to add interest.

THe song is good and deserves a better drum track.

Thanks for feedback, glad you like the tune.  This is my first experience with recording software of this caliber and it was a feat just to get the drum synth to play.  It's one I found that came with Sonar.  I have much to learn, including working with and editing MIDI.

very cool, and a super first shot at recording.

I had the same issues with drums until I found there are intelligent drum synths that actually "know how to play" better than me, with my limited ability to think like a drummer.

The whole thing seems to be back a bit.  However, you have a great talent and keep working on the recording.  With raw materials like that there's a lot that can happen.  Really cool song!

Very nice, especially for a first effort.
The recording sounds clean, but a little soft. Oddly, the waveform suggests it should be much louder than it is.
You mentioned using Studio Instruments Drums in your other thread. You have several patterns to work with, including turn-arounds, that would help make that drum track more interesting.
I like that comfortable, easy style on the guitar.
Your voice reminds me of James Taylor (not a bad thing).
Keep at it, and hope to hear more from you.

    Great track.

Keep up the recording. It get's easier and your off to a pretty good start. There's tons of info on recording on the net as well.

    Well done!

    Hey Scott,
Great tune and performance. Guitar and vocals sound nice and clear. I agree with the others on the drums and overall volume of the mix. Welcome & GREAT JOB!
