Drag Moving Multiple Tracks?

Do we have the ability in X1 to drag move multiple tracks aside from dragging a folder? I've tried the logical combinations of ctrl, shift, click, etc. to no avail. The project I just received has over 200 tracks, and though I've organized them into folders, it is now very tedious to move the tracks within the folders one by one to organize further. Can't seem to do it in track manager, either. Am I missing something? Thanks, everyone.

Sounds to me that the most likely problem is  the tracks are imported as BWF's (broadcast wave files) and they are honoring their original itime placements.

Go into Preferences and look for "Always import BWf's at their current timestamp and deslecte it.   Thtn try to move them.

IIRC, there is no way to select multiple tracks and drag them. For example, if you wanted to move tracks 50 ~ 100 to the 1 ~ 50 position, you'd have to do each one individually.

One workaround I have done it higlight the tracks you want to group together using Control.  (Tracks 5, 13, 19 , 21 for example).  Then right click and remove from track folder.  The tracks will group up when removed ..just make sure they stay highlighted, right click again and insert back into folder, they will then be succession

Thanks, Mike. I think I'll use your workaround until Cakewalk gives us the feature, which to me seems like one of the only obvious simple features they're missing.

Searching for this feature on the internet with no luck - is it still impossible to do something as simple as that?
